My computer screen froze up with message stating I needed to call this number because I "may" be infected with a virus, spyware or Trojan horse. I ran a McAffee security scan and came up clean, but I can't get rid of this frozen screen or get to the tabs I had open. Will try a shut down and reboot.

My comp came up with this number on a frozen screen stating comp infected with virus wanting me to call for support. .. under heading Microsoft network defender. Also locked up comp. .. could not close any of the Windows.

constant caller. The one voice I heard seemed hostle

Get a call from this number. It rings a couple times then they hang up.

Caller phoned twice on 7JAN11. Asked for son by name. Caught off guard I said he is a student away from home. Caller responded his name would be taken off the list, then hung up.

Spam caller, remove from list.

They have called twice in the same day...almost sounding threathing..don't know who they are sounds like a german accent...

This very indian sounding man from this number indicated he was calling from a law firm (name that I couldn't understand) and that they were calling to collect on the debt from an advance that I didn't pay. Well, first of all, he had my name. Second of all, I never took an advance. I indicated that I hadn't and oculd he please give the details as I was curious as to how this could possibly be. I also indicated that I was affiliated with the court system and could easily check what he was talking about. I wanted the name again, the phone number, address and all the details in writing provided to me. He began to fumble and spitter and sputter. I didn't let up. He ended the call by saying well ok then, you didn't!. It is a scam and absolutely illegal.

I am on the do not call list. I left them a VM to remove me.

Unknow dialer

I was wondering what this number was, and just realized that it's a reminder recording from my doctor's office for an upcoming appt. It's slightly annoying because it'll not leave a message but just keep calling until I can answer it. It might be a general service that does these kinds of reminders.

CALLED ABOUT MARKETING AND OTHER APPLICATIONS

They called me 15 times in over a week, asking for a lady who previously had my number. Their business is called Plaza Associates, a debt-reliever company. This lady had about 10 accounts on their system with my phone number on it, and they kept calling me. On Wednesday (12/08/10), they said they fixed it, then about an hour later I got a call from them, and so I called them back, and let them have it. I swore to them that I would press charges for harassment if they called me again - and that set them straight. It drove me nuts. But that's the end of my story.

They claim they are with the Florida Attorney General Office, demanding payment of funds from one of our teachers.

I am on the Do Not Call registry and I receive faxes from this number several times each week. Every week.
